Set of 4 Italian Mid Century Trieste Folding Chairs by Aldo Jacober for Alberto Bazzani
Set of four Italian mid century Trieste folding chairs, designed by Aldo Jacober for Alberto Bazzani in the 1960s. These distinctive chairs showcase designer's innovative approach to functional design, combining a sculptural folding frame with warm natural wood and beautifully crafted slatted seats. The A-frame construction with sculpted thick backrests gives the chairs strong and elegant presence, while the ingenious folding design allows them to be stored flat when not in use. The natural wood grain adds warmth and character, making them a great choice for a dining area, kitchen, or as occasional statement seating.
Condition: professionally and fully refinished to excellent condition. All sides of wood frames from top to bottom (including the bottom sides of the chairs!) were stripped, sanded, and sealed with multiple layers of Danish oil.
